In the Andrómaco alley, 68 houses remain in their original neighborhood, which has been transformed into a high-value area in Mexico City. For over three generations, its inhabitants defy the drastic change of their environment, preserving their customs and union as a community that adapts, while resisting the relentless gentrification.
Director – Vania Violeta Ramírez del Pozo
Vania del Pozo, a native of Mexico City, earned her Master’s degree in Film from Universidad Iberoamericana with the support of a CONAHCYT scholarship. She has directed three short films and contributed as an assistant producer, photographer, assistant camera operator, and editor on multiple projects. In 2024, she completed her debut feature film, “Andrómaco”.
