The Caquinho flooring is a typical kind of Brazilian mosaic floor. It’s a popular invention that colored most Brazilian homes in the 20th century. The first artist of this work is unknown, but in São Caetano, the city where the Caquinho flooring was born, there is always someone who claims to know the person who had the idea for the first time. This film goes after this story, the story of those broken ceramic pieces, which were so popular that they became more expensive than the entire piece.
