Based on the book “Creatures are Stirring: A Guide to Architectural Companionship” by Julia Sedlock and Joseph Altshuler, “Sentient City” constructs an interconnected creaturely ecology. The film builds a lively alternative world where a sampling of historical and contemporary animated architectures flap, shimmer, wiggle, wink, and empathize alongside their human counterparts.
