The documentary “O Diagnóstico” follows the first year of the conservation project for the Casarão da Dona Lóquinha, built in the 18th century in Costa da Lagoa, Florianópolis/SC. Produced by Tombô, the film showcases the research and emergency actions carried out by the “Viva o Sobrado!” collective, highlighting the technical work and testimonies from community members who lived with the last residents of the Casarão in the 1990s.
Director – Fernanda do Canto
Fernanda do Canto is a videomaker, documentarist, museologist, designer, cultural producer, and environmentalist. She holds degrees in Graphic Design and Museology from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2009 and 2020, respectively) and a Master’s in Visual Arts from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain (2012). Her research focuses on tangible and intangible cultural heritage, with an emphasis on environmental causes. She is a co-founder of Tombô Produções Museológicas.
Director – Natalia Poli
Natalia Poli is an audiovisual creator, screenwriter, and photographer. Her work explores fictional formats, first-person documentaries, and experimental approaches. She works in various roles within audiovisual production, including art director, costume designer, and assistant director. She is also a film club enthusiast and curator of exhibitions.
