February 6, 2023 Earthquake was a milestone for all of us.

People lost their homes, nests, families, and friends. However, despite all these losses, women, with exceptional strength, managed to recover themselves and started helping their own surroundings and families first, then other people. In our documentary, we tell the stories of six different women who, after the Hatay earthquake, stood on their own feet and then became a beacon of hope for others by helping them hold on to life.

Director – Didem Tütüncü

Didem Tütüncü was born in 1993 in Izmir. Completed her education in International Relations, Cinema and, Advertising. She has worked in various positions in the fields of Cinema and Media. With her documentary titled “Al Ula,” filmed in Saudi Arabia, she earned the title of the first Turkish Female Director to shoot a documentary in Saudi Arabia. She has received several first-place awards in international short film competitions in countries such as Turkey, Estonia and, Romania.
